The advantage of this module is its superior efficiency and high short-circuit current. This module is therefore particularly well-suited for charging batteries in small and large stand-alone systems. Even under diffuse light conditions (e.g. cloudy sky) the mono-crystalline modules give a high energy yield. In addition, they have high long-term stability and provide an almost constant power supply over their entire lifecycle. The solar cells themselves are embedded in the flexible EVA plastic of the module laminate and are permanently bonded to the front cover, which is made of special hardened, highly transparent glass. This bond protects from moisture ingress, guarantees UV stability and enables thermal expansion. The warp-resistant module frame is made from anodised aluminium and provides particularly high mechanical stability, guaranteeing easy installation of the module.
