This monolithic module is a high-precision, temperature-independent power source. The output current in μA corresponds exactly to the temperature in Kelvin. So at 25 ºC there is a current of 298.2 μA, corresponding to 298.2 K (0 K = – 273,2 ºC). The sensor possesses an excellent linearity of only 0.15 K. Without additional calibration, the tolerance amounts to ± 1.5 K. This mistake can be compensated very simply by a resistant trimmer so that only the linearity mistake appears. Linearity ± 0.15 K
